Six care workers in Lincolnshire have been recognised for their outstanding achievements and quality of care they provides to elderly residents.

The staff, from The Orders of St John Care Trust, were presented with their awards at the Trust’s 2012 Chairman’s Commendation Awards in Lincoln Cathedral’s Chapter House.

Amongst the recipients was Maria Fryer, activities coordinator from Digby Court in Christopher’s Lane, Bourne.

Maria was praised for catering to the individual needs of each resident when she organises outings and activities at the home.
