A patients group has held a Christmas draw to raise money for a doctors surgery.

The draw and coffee morning was held by the Bourne Galletly Medical Practice patient group on Thursday last week at the surgery in North Raod.

There are about 20 prize winners and prizes, all donated, include Christmas food hampers and bottles of wine and whiskey. The event raised about £600 which will go towards providing the doctors surgery with extra resources.

Ann Gibson from the patients group said: “It all went very well. Our Christmas draw is always one of our biggest fundraisers.”
