Youngsters from Casterton Business and Enterprise College have spent a week near the French town of Pouzauges as part of a college exchange programme.
More than 25 pupils across four year groups at the school, took part in the exchange which gave them the opportunity to become part of a French family and experience French life, including a day at school.
As part of the trip pupils visited the technology theme park, Futuroscope, with their French Exchange partners; the amazing Les Machines de l’île in Nantes and spent a day in the French school, Gaston Chaissac, experiencing lessons, PE and lunch.
Year 9 pupil Jake Rogers said: “It was a great opportunity to expand on my knowledge of the French language. I got the chance to talk with French people and experience their life. I am happy I went on the trip.”
