Police have released CCTV images of three people they want to talk to over thefts from two Stamford town centre shops.

Officers want to speak to the woman pictured above about the theft of clothing from Fat Face in High Street on Thursday, July 3.

If you recognise her, call the Stamford team on 01780 752222 quoting incident 301 of July 3.

Police are also keen to speak to the two men pictured left about the theft of several mobile phones from the O2 shop in St Paul’s Street on May 17.

If you know the men or have any information on the theft call 01780 752222 quoting incident number 185 of Saturday, May 19.

Officers are investigating several other thefts in the area.

A petrol lawn mower, hedge trimmer and leaf blower worth about £500 were stolen from a shed in Exeter Gardens, Stamford, between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday, July 13. Any witnesses should call 101 quoting incident 65 of July 13.

A camera was stolen from a shop in St John’s Street, Stamford, at about 2.15pm on Saturday, July 12.

Two men came into the shop, with one distracting staff while the other stole the camera.

Police described the men as about 6ft tall, slim, unshaven, wearing white T-shirts, cut-off blue shorts and blue baseball caps. Incident 294 of July 12.

A police spokesman said: “Can we take this time to remind everyone to ensure that valuable and personal property is stored securely and out of view of others where possible.

“Thieves who take these items are like magpies - if they see it, they will take it. Make sure it’s not yours.”

And a Kawasaki ZZR1100 motorbike was stolen from School Lane, Baston, at about 1.30pm on Tuesday last week. Incident 320 of July 8.

Police have also appealed for witnesses after a vehicle in St Mary’s Place, Stamford, was vandalised between midnight on Thursday and 6.30am on Friday last week. Incident 106 of July 11.
