Stamford Childminding Group held its annual one-mile toddle waddle to support a local charity which raises awareness of meningitis.
More than 40 children, childminders and friends took part in the event at Burghley House in aid for For Lucie and raised about £700. The charity was set up by Jon and Trish Page, of Witham-on-the-Hill, in memory of their daughter Lucie, who died from the disease at just 16 weeks.
Stamford Childminding Group chairman Anita Hassall said: “This charity is very dear to us as we know the family personally. We all enjoy taking part in the walk and to raise funds for such a worthwhile charity.”
