The Christmas fair at Malcolm Sargent Primary School on Saturday last week has raised more than £3,000 to develop the school’s playground zones.
The fair, opened by Stamford mayor Brian Sumner, included a raffle, silent auction, tombolas, games and shopping stalls.
Visitors to the school in Stamford were entertained by its choirs who performed Christmas songs. Fair-goers also had the opportunity to sample cupcakes entered in the school’s Christmas bake-off competition.
Head teacher Tristan Revell said: “Every year the Christmas fair gets bigger and better; £3,000 is a fantastic amount of money.
“Thank you everyone, including the businesses of Stamford, who very generously supported the event.”
