A man who beat his wife has been ordered to pay compensation and put under supervision for two years.
Paul Frost, 31, from Tallington, was sentenced for two counts of assault at Grantham Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Frost, who lives in a caravan at Tallington Lakes, admitted attacking his wife in October and December last year at a previous hearing.
He was given a community order, put under supervision for two years, ordered to attend a 50-day offending behaviour programme and a six-day alcohol-specific activity programme.
Frost, who used to live in a village near Bourne, was also ordered not to contact his wife, to pay compensation of £250, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.
