Contest success boosts business
Winning a national competition last year and becoming the new face of the company’s advertising campaign has boosted business for heating engineer Stuart Brearley.
Stuart won the boiler manufacturer Worcester, Bosch Group’s The New Face of Worcester contest, held to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. His unusual boiler conversion to solar power meant he was chosen from hundreds of entrants from all around the UK.
His business, Deeping Gas, in Market Deeping where he lives, has gone from strength to strength in spite of the tough economic climate.
“Being the new Face of Worcester was a dream come true,” he said. “I am very enthusiastic about the brand and its products and there’s no doubt it has done wonders to enhance my reputation in the local area.”
Sue Pennington, consumer brand manager at Worcester said Stuart was a great ambassador for the company and they were very pleased to hear that he had such a successful year.
