Here’s a list of results from hearings held recently at magistrates’ courts in the area.

We do not include minor speeding offences.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, November 29

Benjamin Ray, 26, of Kesteven Road, Stamford, admitted driving without insurance in Casterton Road, Stamford, on June 20. He was fined £260 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £26. He also had six points put on his licence.

Rachel Yardley, 24, of Queens Walk, Stamford, was found guilty of driving without insurance in Uffington Road, Stamford, on June 22. She had six points put on her licence, was fined £600 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, November 27

Jonathan Lane, 29, of Gaol Street, Oakham, admitted damaging furniture, a television, broadband equipment and other items worth £500 on October 28. He was fined £475 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, November 29

Timothy Reed, 50, of Cricket Lawns, Oakham, was found guilty of driving without insurance, without displaying a tax disc and while using a mobile phone in Buckingham Drive, Oakham, on June 17. He had six points put on his licence, was fined £600 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, December 9

Mark Tyers, 41, of The Fields, Somerby, admitted driving without a seatbelt in Cold Overton Road, Oakham, on June 12. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Ian Exton, 43, of Oak Road, Stamford, was found guilty of failing to identify a driver who was alleged to be guilty of an offence in Leicester on July 15. He had six points put on his licence, was fined £600 and 
ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.
