Here are the recent results from magistrates’ courts in our area.

We do not carry minor speeding offences.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, January 10

David Phillips, 30, of High Street, Thurlby, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

He was fined £600, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60, and had six points put on his licence.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, January 20

Daniella Bull, 37, of Tolethorpe Square, Stamford, admitted using a colour television without a licence between October 31 and November 15, 2013.

She was fined £35, ordered to pay costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Rachel Coddington, 38, of Cliff Road, Stamford, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence between October 14 and November 15, 2013.

She was fined £400, ordered to pay costs of £90 and pay a victim surcharge of £90.

Karean Cunnington, 44, of Elizabeth Road, Stamford, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence on November 13, 2013.

She was fined £200, ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Elizabeth Morgan, 62, of Lambeth Walk, Stamford, admitted using a colour television without a licence on October 23, 2013.

She was fined £90, ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Stacey Walker, 27, of Benedict Court, Deeping St James, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence on October 29, 2013.

She was fined £200, ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Graham Wright, 44, of Foundry Road, Stamford, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence on April 15, 2013.

He was fined £500, ordered to pay costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £50.

Saul Parsons, 23, of Haconby Lane, Morton, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Bourne on November 30, 2013.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, January 21

Shaun Moody, 36, of Abel Close, Deeping St James, admitted stealing food and alcohol from Tesco in Market Deeping on December 18, 2013.

He was given a community order and placed under a curfew for four months. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, January 22

Kelly Stoffel, 38, of Godiva Crescent, Bourne, admitted driving without due care and attention, with tyres that were too worn and without a valid MOT test certificate in Bourne on October 8, 2013.

She had six points put on her licence, was fined £305 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, January 23

Richard Kirby, 55, of Stephens Way, Deeping St James, admitted drink driving in Church Street, Deeping St James, on December 28, 2013. He gave a reading of 80 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.

He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £240, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £24.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, January 27

Aaron Goddard, 33, of Rycroft Avenue, Deeping St James, admitted drink driving in Millfield Road, Deeping St James, on December 29, 2013. He gave a reading of 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

He was disqualified from driving for six months, fined £200, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Samuel Holland, 22, of Masterton Road, Stamford, admitted failing to comply with a police direction not to return to Broad Street, Stamford, for 24 hours, on January 1.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, January 27

Danny Carroll, 28, of Gaol Street, Oakham, admitted causing £500 of damage to a window at the Red India restaurant and stealing 16 Lynx body spray cans from Wilkinson in Oakham.

He was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for a year, and was ordered to pay compensation of£80.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, January 28

Daniel Wilkes, 34, of Maxey Close, Market Deeping, admitted driving without insurance or a licence on the A1175 in Tallington on June 26, 2013. He had six points put on his licence, was fined £80, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
