These are the results from recent hearings at magistrates’ courts around the area.

We do not carry minor speeding offences.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, June 11

David Butler, 31, of Foxfield Road, Oakham, admitted assaulting two men in Melton Mowbray on October 5, 2013.

He was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months, pay compensation of £550, costs of £300 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, June 16

Rachel Yardley, 25, of Queens Walk, Stamford, admitted drink driving in Queens Walk, Stamford, on May 31. She gave a reading of 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35ml.

She was disqualified from driving for 36 months, fined £250, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £25.

Francis Dowell, 39, of Church Lane, Stamford, admitted stealing a whole carat diamond ring from F Hinds in Stamford on March 21.

He was ordered to take part in an employment, training and education course for 10 days and placed under supervision. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £250.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, June 18

Tarzan Hadzaj, 24, of Gladstone Street, Bourne, was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving in Church Street, Spalding, on September 20, 2013.

He was fined £70, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20, and had three points put on his licence.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, June 18

Henry Williams, 19, of Preston Court, Preston, admitted drink driving, driving without insurance or a valid test certificate in Uppingham Road, Oakham, on May 31. He gave a reading of 63 microgrammes in 100ml of breath.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £170, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, June 19

A 13-year-old girl from Bourne, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted stealing deodorants worth £15.95 from Tesco in Bourne on June 4.

She was sent to a youth offender panel.

A 17-year-old boy from Bourne, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted damaging a Seat Leon in Stamford between February 26 and May 23.

He was sent to a youth offender panel, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, June 23

Samuel Barker, 18, of High Street, Little Bytham, admitted drink driving in Main Road, Tallington, on June 6. He gave a reading of 47 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

He was disqualified from driving for a year, fined £110, ordered to pay costs of £50 and a victim surcharge of £20.

James Marsden, 27, of Burchnall Close, Deeping St James, admitted obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty on 
May 17.

He was fined £70, ordered to pay costs of £50 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Simon Walton, 45, of Stamford Road, Easton-on-the-Hill, admitted drink driving in All Saints Place, Stamford, on June 7. He 
gave a reading of 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

He was disqualified from driving for 40 months, fined £650, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £65.

Luke Mayer, 31, of West Street, Folkingham, admitted assaulting a woman on May 5.

He was ordered to take part in an education, training and employment course for 10 days and a building better relationships programme for 29 days. He was placed under supervision, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Scott Johnson, 25, of Fen Road, Dowsby, admitted drink driving, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident in Dunsby on June 9.

He was disqualified from driving from 17 months, fined £680, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £37.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, June 25

A 16-year-old boy from Bourne, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted assaulting a man in Bourne on November 16, 2013.

He was sent before a youth offending team, ordered to pay costs of £80 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Eric Dalby, 66, of Glaston Road, Uppingham, admitted failing to stop after an accident and driving without due care and attention in North Street East, Uppingham, on October 4, 2013.

He was fined £100, ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £20 and had five points put on his licence.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, June 30

Anthony Miller, of Brython Drive, St Mellons, Cardiff, admitted assaulting two PCs, being drunk and disorderly and using abusive or threatening words or behaviour in Red Lion Street, Stamford, on May 3.

He was ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency for nine months, placed under supervision, ordered to pay compensation of £150, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 1

Daniel Pethers, 24, of Station Road, Morton, admitted two counts of driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence in Stamford Road, Ryhall, on October 30, 2013, and Abbey Road, Bourne, on October 31, 2013.

He was disqualified from driving for six months, fined £275 and ordered to pay costs of £170 and a victim surcharge of £20.

James Mason, 28, of Viking Way, Thurlby, admitted driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence in North Road, Bourne, on July 30, 2013.

He was fined £110, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, July 2

Richard Wilks, 50, of Graffham Drive, Oakham, was found guilty of harassing a man by using a blog to state that he was a racist.

He was given a 22-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months, and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work during the next year. He was also ordered to pay costs of £300 and compensation of £200.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 3

A 15-year-old boy from Langtoft, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted driving without insurance in Stamford Close, Market Deeping, on February 25; taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and driving without a licence or insurance in Market Deeping on February 8; and driving without insurance or a licence in Langtoft on April 9.

He was sent before a youth offender panel under a 12-month contract, disqualified from driving for 12 months, ordered to pay compensation of £250 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 7

Christian Amuntenci, 36, of Spa Road, Braceborough, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen in South Road, Bourne, on June 22.

He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £250, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £25.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, July 9

Elizabeth Jacobs, 45, of Empingham Lane, Tickencote, admitted drink driving in Barnsdale Avenue, Barnsdale, on April 3. She gave a reading of 267 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes.

She was given an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, and placed under supervision for 18 months. She was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £80. She was also disqualified from driving for five years.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 14

Guy Smith, 47, of Stamford Road, West Deeping, admitted drink driving on the A151 at Grimsthorpe on June 28. He gave a reading of 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

He was disqualified from driving for a year, fined £500, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £50.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 15

Kerry Palmer, 43, of Teasles, Deeping St James, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

She had six points put on her licence, fined £600, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.
