Villagers enjoyed a hearty meal as they raised funds for their community.

A lent lunch was held at Exton Village Hall on Tuesday last week.

Lunches are held annually in February and March and have become a popular event.

Villagers are invited to come along and enjoy homemade soup, crusty bread and a dessert.

Funds raised at the series of lunches are donated to causes around the community.

This year the money raised at the lunches will be split between the village hall committee and Exton and Greetham Primary School.
