Dancers have helped raise £400 for a children’s Christmas party in the memory of a friend.

Each month throughout the year, amateur dance enthusiasts of all levels of expertise get together at Uppingham Town Hall, in High Street East, Uppingham, for an evening of dance and fundraising called Come Dancing.

Tasha Muller organises the children’s Christmas parties in memory of her daughter-in-law Phyllis, who ran the parties for more than 30 years before she died in 2010.

The party was a great success with children enjoying games, dancing and a visit from Santa. The committee would like to thank everyone who has supported the monthly dances over the past year.
