Staff and children from a dance school presented money raised at one of their performances to charity on Sunday.

Pupils from the Deeping School of Dance presented a cheque for £250, made up of £200 raised at the dance school’s June performance and a £50 anonymous donation, to chairman of Spalding and Bourne branch Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Fund, Andy Fuller.

Mr Fuller said: “It was a fantastic, the kids did several different dances for us during the presentation.

“It was a tremendous morning of entertainment and to raise money for us is just fantastic.

“It is a difficult time for fundraisers at the moment. We spend a lot of our time outside of supermarkets with our tins so to get a donation of this size is great.

“I want to extend a big thank you to Marina and all the girls for organising the performance and raising money.”

A donation of £50 was also given to charity Childreach.
