The Lincolnshire Family History Society hosted an information day for the people of Bourne and the surrounding villages at the corn exchange on Saturday last week.
Members of the society were on hand to help people research their family trees, and found plenty of interesting stories.

Author Alan Stennett, who broadcasts on farming matters on BBC Radio Lincolnshire and has written a number of local history books, was the special guest and was happy to talk to people about their findings.
Visitors were also able to browse bookstalls selling a range of publications by the Lincolnshire Family History Society, and Family History Research Guides published by the Society of Genealogists and also Local History publications.
