Primary school age children took home goody boxes filled with cards, finger puppets, bookmarks and flower arrangements that they made during a morning of activities.
At the event in Priory Church, Deeping St James, they also heard the story of Good Friday brought to life by puppets at a special service led by the Rev Mark Thomson.
The Good Friday activities, attended by some 60 children, and organised by leaders of the Children’s Church Group for three to 11 year olds, concluded with parents joining their offspring.
Organiser Andrea Gamman said: “The Easter activities provided the children with a lovely start to the Easter weekend.”
The Children’s Church meets on Sundays from 9.50am to 11am.
