Teachers, pupils and parents at Exton and Greetham Primary School are celebrating after receiving a good rating in its latest Ofsted report.
Following a visit, inspectors from the education watchdog reported that the school, in Garden Road, Exton, had strong levels of teaching in the key areas of reading, writing and mathematics.
They were impressed by the quality of teaching, achievement and behaviour of pupils.
Acting headteacher Megan Davis said: “We are delighted that Ofsted recognised the many wonderful things that happen at the school.”
Following the good news, the school held its community lunch.
Hambleton Bakery kindly donated the bread and staff made soup to raise funds for the school and village church.
