Bourne Wood was transformed into a magical winter wonderland at the weekend as more than 120 children and their families came to see Santa.

The festive event held by the Friends of Bourne Wood included children’s activities, such as gingerbread man baking and tree decorating. There were also craft stalls and representatives from Three Counties Dog Rescue.

Friends of Bourne Wood secretary Sarah Roberts said: “It is such a nice thing for the children to do and a great place to come and see Santa.”
