Firefighters deal with bin fire and overheated tumble dryer

Firefighters were called to deal with two fires in the county yesterday.

Two wheelie bins caught fire in Casterton Road, Exton, which then spread to a garage. The cause of the fire was accidental.

Fire crews were also called to a blaze at a property in High Street East, Uppingham, when a tumble dryer overheated.

No-one was injured in either of the incidents.
