Former racing driver to speak to Bourne club
Bourne Motor Racing Club president Warwick Banks will be the speaker at the club’s December meeting on December 13.
Warwick will talk about his life, not only in motor racing, but also flying and engineering.
Warwick Banks is a name synonymous with Touring Cars in the 1960s. Warwick achieved success at all levels, but perhaps his greatest achievement was finishing first in the European Touring Car Championship in 1964.
The meeting takes place at the Angel Hotel’s Coach House function room starting at 8pm. £3 for non-members.
