Former Bourne to Dance pupil Freddie Huddleston will dance for the chance to make the final of Sky 1’s Got to Dance.
Freddie, 24, from Corby Glen, is one of six acts who will appear in the third live heat of the show, which airs for the first time on Sky 1 at 7.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday).
The American tap specialist has been coached by judge Adam Garcia and will hope to win over fellow judges Kimberley Wyatt and Ashley Banjo and secure a place in the live final at 6.30pm on Friday.
Members of Freddie’s former dance school Bourne to Dance cheered and screamed as he made his first appearance on August 9. They packed into Bourne Snooker Centre to watch the audition show, and will be there again tonight.
Freddie’s American tap routine wowed the judges, who called on him to “own it” in the next round.
The winner of Got to Dance gets a grand prize of £250,000.
Freddie, who grew up in Corby Glen, now lives in Westcliff-on-Sea.
He still returns to Bourne to teach classes for his former dance school, and is often seen in the audience at their shows.
