Police have warned drivers to be extra careful after flash flooding in south Lincolnshire.
Roads are under several inches of water in Bourne and the Deepings, along with several of the villages along the A15 including Morton and Hanthorpe.
Deepings resident Ashley Baxter sent in several photos of the scene at about 4.30pm. High Street, on the boundary of Market Deeping and Deeping St James, was under about six inches of water, causing problems for drivers.
And Linchfield Primary School in Deeping St James will be closed tomorrow, according to headteacher Andy Fawkes.
Lincolnshire Police put out a warning to motorists. A spokesman said: “Please be cautious, drive according to the conditions and allow extra time for your journey.”
The wet weather will return tomorrow, with rain forecast throughout the day and into the night.
