High Street in Morton closed after lorry hits power line
Police were forced to close a road after a lorry caught an electric cable.
The lorry hit a power line above High Street, Morton, just before 11am today (Tuesday).
The cable snapped and came down across the road so police closed the street to allow Western Power Distribution engineers to fix it.
No-one was hurt in the incident and the road was reopened just after 1pm.
