Join in with Wear a Hat Day

Businesses, schools and organisations are being urged to get involved in a charity scheme by asking staff and pupils to wear a hat for just one day.

March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month and as part of that national Wear A Hat Day will be held on Thursday, March 28.

Carole and Rob Hughes, who founded children’s brain tumour charity Anna’s Hope, are encouraging businesses and organisations in the Stamford, Bourne and Rutland area to get behind the day.

So far, a handful of places have pledged to get behind the day but more are needed.

They also hope anyone taking part can raise funds for the charity.

Anyone who wants to find out more can e-mail admin@annashope.co.uk

We hope to feature as many people taking part in the day as possible.
