A leisure centre assistant will attempt to cycle 400 miles from London to Paris this summer to support a children’s charity.
Josh Wright, who works at Deepings Leisure Centre, is raising money for Anna’s Hope to support children who are diagnosed with brain tumours.
The 19-year-old has already carried out a charity car wash to help reach his target.
He said: “Brain tumours are the leading cancer killer for children and Anna’s Hope aims to fund rehabilitation care as well as research into a cure, which I feel is very important.”
The charity bike ride will take place in July.
