An industrial property landlord is giving away 5,000 children’s books to residents, schools and nurseries.

The books, featuring the adventures of Christopher Crocodile, were donated to Workplace Property when one of its tenants moved out of King Street Industrial Estate, near Langtoft.

Workplace Property director Dan Hiblin said: “This seems like a great opportunity to do something nice for local schools and nurseries so we’ve started calling round and had a really great response so far.”

The book by Graham Purcell is suited to children aged three to seven and follows the story of Christopher as he attempts to rescue a submarine stuck in the sea.

Workplace Property has already given 1,000 books to the Headstart Nursery and is keen to hear from anyone who would like copies. E-mail enquiries@workplaceproperty.com to find out more.
