Lincolnshire clubs hope for volunteer expansion

SPORTS clubs and organisations in Lincolnshire are hoping for a boost in support next week during Student Volunteer Week which starts on Monday.

Thousands of students are being encouraged to volunteer their time to help charities and organisations.

Chief executive of Lincolnshire Sports Partnership Janet Inman said: “Sport relies heavily on volunteers giving up their time to support sport across the UK. Student Volunteer Week is an opportunity to link students at local schools and colleges to sports clubs.”
