The three winners of the Mercury’s Little Stars competition have smiles on their faces after collecting their fabulous prizes.

In June we teamed up with top photographic company Starlight Studios to find the cutest youngsters around.

And on Monday the winners in each category were presented with a canvas print of their winning photo, courtesy of Starlight.

They also received a day out at Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre and a session at Mini Monsters soft play in Oakham.

The overall winner with the most text and post votes was 11-month-old Saffie Hume, from Bourne.

Mum Kristen Jesson said: “Everyone thinks their little babies are pretty but there is just something about Saffie.

“The amount of strangers that stop me and say how cute she is is amazing.”

Phoebe Pennells, two, from Deeping St James, won the 18 months to three years category.

Mum Charlotte said: “She is sharing the prizes with her brother Mckenzie.

“She is quite shy but my mum was making her laugh during the photoshoot.”

And Chloe Finch, three, from Oakham, won the three and over category.

Mum Jenna said: “Her nursery teachers were very proud. The photo is going up on her bedroom wall.”

Chief executive officer of Starlight Studios, Andy Moore, said: “It has been an excellent competition again with good results across the board.

“There have been a lot of smiling kids and we are looking forward to doing it again next year.”
