Lorry crash causes delays for motorists

THERE was traffic chaos for motorists travelling home last night after a crash on the A43.

A lorry came off the road through a crash barrier and knocked a bridge on the A43 near Deenesthorpe at about 4.15pm yesterday.

Although the driver wasn't seriously hurt, the road was closed until 11.15pm while the fully-loaded lorry was recovered and the bridge was checked for structural damage.
