Man charged with drink driving after vehicle crashes into wine shop in Oakham

A 24-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after he crashed into a shop in Oakham.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Oakham Wines, in High Street, at about 3am yesterday (Sunday).
The shop window has been boarded up and the premises was cordoned off.
The man was charged with driving when above the legal alcohol limit, driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.
He has been bailed and is due to appear at Loughborough Magistrates Court on January 23.
