Gym members who posed nude for a charity calendar gathered to hand over £1,500 to a children’s hospital.
Fitness fanatics at Rhino’s Gymnasium in Stamford stripped off last year after hearing of the case of young Mason Sallis. Mason, whose father Tony trains at the gym, was born with Pierre Robin Sequence, a condition that involves the lower jaw being either too small or set back from the upper jaw.
He was treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital so gym staff and members decided to help the cause.
Rhino’s co-owner Nick Swann said: “I was delighted with the amount we raised, a total of £1,500 in six months, mainly due to the charity calendar but also other events such as guess the number of baubles on the Christmas tree.
“A heartfelt thank you to all our members.”
