Mother from Oakham in desperate call for return of son’s favourite toys

A mother is desperately calling for people to be on the look-out for her two-year-old son’s favourite toys after they went missing in Oakham.

Caspar Rawes has lost his beloved cuddly toys, a small white rabbit and scruffy grey dog, and his mum Claire said it would “make her Christmas” for the trio to be reunited.

Claire believes the toys fell out of Caspar’s pram between their home in Barmstedt Close and Mill Street at about midday yesterday (Monday).

She is offering a £50 cash reward for their safe return.

Claire said: “They have been by Caspar’s side ever since he was born and hold huge sentimental value. They are all best friends.

“I think they’ve fallen out his pram somewhere between Barmstedt Close and Mill Street.

“It would make our Christmas if we got them back.”

The toys were made by Jellycat.

If you have seen them, call Claire on 01572 756973 or 07747124833.
