No lines, no fines
Parking officers will not enforce fines for people parking on broken double yellow lines.
Newly-painted lines in St Mary’s Place, Stamford, broke up for a second time last week after the paint failed to stick to the cobbles.
Lincolnshire County Council has confirmed that if lines are unclear, they are unenforceable until they are repainted.
