Footwear retailer North Shoes is celebrating after a triple win at the Footwear Industry Awards 2013.

The company with a store in North Street, Bourne received awards for Independent Family Retailer of the year, Ladies Independent Retailer of the year and was Highly Commended for Men’s Independent Retailer of the year.

The awards ceremony was held in Birmingham last month.

James North, the fifth generation at the head of the company, said they are delighted with the awards. He added: “To win these awards is a huge honour for us and I would like to thank all of our staff, in all three stores, for their continual hard work and effort in providing our customers with good service and well-fitted shoes.

“It’s such a privilege for us to be recognised at this national event.”
