A coffee morning helped raise awareness and funds for a Fairtrade charity.
The Rutland Fairtrade Steering Group held the Big Brew Morning at Oakham Methodist Church on Saturday.
The group hoped to raise awareness of the work of Traidcraft, which is the UK’s leading Fairtrade organisation.
A collection was also taken for Traidcraft Exchange, a charity which works to bring farmers in developing countries under the Fairtrade banner.
A total of £135 was raised on the day.
And a poster competition for youngsters was won by Oakham Brownies.
Some of the posters will be on display in Oakham Library over the coming weeks.
Richard Baggott, who helped organise the morning, said: “It all went very well.”
