Owner of Burley house at centre of planning row appeals against enforcement notice
The owner of a house has appealed against an enforcement notice ordering him to make major changes.
Rutland County Council issued the notice to the owners of the Pavilion in Home Farm Close, Burley, in February, after it came to light that the property went far beyond what it had planning permission for.
The council and the Planning Inspectorate received the appeal on Friday.
The council is now waiting for an update from the Planning Inspectorate, which is reponsible for setting a start date for the formal appeal process.
It is expected there will be a public inquiry.
