People urged to attend Oakham Town Council meeting where planning issues will be discussed

People are urged to attend a meeting where planning applications will be discussed.

Oakham Town Council’s planning and park committee will discuss plans for 18 car parking spaces on the former site of The Parks School, an application by JD Wetherspoon to transform the former Royal British Legion building and plans to turn the former Ashwell Prison into a business park.

The meeting will be at 7pm on Wednesday at Oakham Town Hall.

People can also raise issues at a surgery at the town hall on Saturday between 10am and 1pm.
