Petrol price drops to less than £1 a litre

PETROL prices have fallen to less than a £1 a litre for the first time since December last year.

Supermarket Morrisons has led the cut as it announced a litre of unleaded petrol would cost 99.9p at all its forecourts from today.

In Stamford, the drop in price has been made and already matched by some other stations.

Hindmarch petrol station in Uffington Road has also cut its price to 99.9p.
