Plea for potential pet owners after increase in rescued cats
A cat rehoming service has appealed for potential pet owners to come forward after an increase in animals in the new year.
Peterborough Cat Rescue has been inundated with cats since the start of 2013.
The service was due to hold an open event at Paws and Claws Cattery in Wansford on Sunday but has had to cancel because of the weather.
Staff are desperate to give some of the cats that people have brought in to loving homes.
