Police appeal after break-ins in Stamford town centre

Police are appealing for information after two break-ins in Stamford.

Officers reported that furniture shop Delcor, in Bath Row, was broken into over the past couple of days.

The offenders managed to get into the premises through a toilet window but left with nothing after forcing open a cash tin which was empty.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 125 of January 5.

Thieves stole about £100 from the South Kesteven Citizens Advice Bureau in High Street, Stamford.

The culprits gained entry through a ground floor window and stole the cash sometime between 5pm on Thursday and 8.30am on Friday.

Those with information about the incident are being urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 76 of January 3.
