Pre-loved dress sale will raise cash for dog rescue centre
Two women are planning a second-hand clothes sale to raise money for Three Counties Dog Rescue in Bourne.
The Barking Mad Dress Sale will be held on Thursday, March 7, between 3.30pm and 7.30pm, at Braceborough Village Hall.
Organisers Jane Means and Sarah Milne are appealing for people to donate their pre-loved clothes for the sale and the pair already have some designer clothes ready to sell.
Television presenter Catherine Gee will open the sale. Country Living Magazine has donated 200 tickets to its spring fair gala evening in London, which will be given to customers at the event.
There will also be tea and homemade cakes, wine and cloudy lemonade, and it is hoped that with the hall decorations and the gift wrapping, there will be a real boutique feel to the event.
A raffle has also been well supported by local businesses and there will be lots of great prizes.
Admission is free.
Good quality women’s clothes and accessories can be dropped off at Three Counties; Sly Dress Agency in Stamford or Leonards Interiors in Bourne.
