Prince William School GCSE results

Prince William School in Oundle has produced another record breaking performance in this year's GCSE examinations.

The number of students achieving five A*to C grades has now passed the 71 per cent mark, the school's highest ever result. Inclusive of English and mathematics the 68 per cent achieving five A* to C grades was also a record achievement.

With 100% of students achieving a qualification again this year, the school has every reason to be proud.

The results also showed some superb individual performances. Andrew Wenban (10 A*'s and one A), Emma Moore (10A*s and one A), Rowan Thompson (eight A*s and three As) and Bethan Griffiths (three A*s and seven As) all achieved excellent results.

Acting headteacher Jonathon Culshaw, said: "The last couple of weeks have been fantastic. The A-level results were our best ever and for the same to have been achieved by our GCSE students is exceptional.

"Once again these results indicate how the learning ethos of Prince William School allows all students the opportunity to aspire and achieve. Students and staff alike should be extremely proud of these results.

"We are delighted that the exceptional results mean that the majority of students are now looking forward to beginning their A-level studies back in the school's sixth form. The remainder are now taking up other work and educational opportunities around the county and we wish them well."

The school does not revesal invidual results.
