A procession and service was held in Oakham to mark crown court hearings at Oakham Castle.
The justice service was held at All Saints Church before a procession was led to Oakham Castle by the Hon Mr Justice Flaux, the High Sheriff of Rutland Trish Ruddle and Lord Lieutenant of Rutland Dr Laurence Howard.
The procession, which also included representatives from local police, fire and Army services, was greeted by a fanfare played by Uppingham Community College and Leighfield Primary School with members of the Uppingham Jazz and Soul Band.
Three sentencing hearings were held at the castle. Graeme Potts, 31, from Weadle in Cheshire, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment after pleading guilty to theft from a shop, between March and June last year.
Matthew Cartwright, 26, from Coventry, was given a 20-month sentence for two counts of theft in July.
Sebastian Piechowiak, 35, from Leicester, who had previously pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm, had his sentencing adjourned.
