Publishing firm Warners Midlands showed its generosity by handing over a cheque for £3,000 to Bourne Foodbank.

The business in Manor Lane, Bourne, has been collecting all year to raise funds for the foodbank.

Since 2006, the firm has raised £50,000 for good causes and always chooses local charities.

Personnel manager at Warners Mark Lynch said: “We are extremely grateful to everyone who has donated money over the years to each of the worthwhile causes and we are looking forward to raising more money in 2014.

“As 90 per cent of our employees live within 10 miles of Bourne we are proud that our fundraising efforts have a direct impact on charities within the local
community.”
