More than 100 beers will be on offer at Rutland Camra’s Oakham Ale Trail.

The trail runs from Thursday next week to Sunday at Rutland County Museum, in Catmos Street, Oakham, and a number of pubs are uniting to make the event a success.

Jon Whowell, chairman of Rutland Camra, said: “This year we have been working with a number of pubs in Oakham to offer a magnificent range of real ales, ciders and perries to our visitors.”

The pubs which are helping organise the event are The Railway Inn, The Three Crowns, Captain Noel Newton, The Lord Nelson, The White Lion and the Grainstore Brewery.

The festival opens at 11am on Thursday, with last orders at 10.30pm each evening.
