Pupils and staff at Casterton Business and Enterprise College celebrated success at their recent presentation
evening.

Principal Victoria Crosher welcomed everyone to the event and said last year’s Year 11 had delivered terrific results.

Pupils, staff and guests were treated to a performance of Wake Me Up by Hannah Fyall and Jenny
Eva. And the young people were addressed by Admiral Sir James Perowne who spoke about the way his school studies had impacted on decisions and events in his career.

Sir James then presented the awards with a special word for each
achiever.

Assistant principal Katy Kato provided the commentary and told the audience the reasons why each prize-winner had been chosen.

The vote of thanks was proposed by deputy head boy Joe Taylor and deputy head girl Sophie Studd and Sir James was presented with books on golf and canal boats.

At the end of the awards, parents, students, guests, and staff adjourned to the Courtyard for coffee and
cake.
