Pupils wowed by boy who'll never grow up
PETER Pan, Captain Hook, the lost boys, and Tinkerbell visited a primary school to entertain youngsters.
The M and M theatre group were at Bourne Abbey Primary School on Tuesday to perform Peter Pan to children as part of the enrichment and enjoyment programme at the school. It is designed to keep youngsters interested in literacy.
Senior deputy headteacher Jan Walker said some children had the opportunity to take part when they were invited up on stage.
She said: "This is the fourth year the theatre group has come to the school and it is always successful. The children really had a wonderful time and were absolutely enchanted.
"The group really involves the children and some were dressed up in costume and took part.
"We think it is important to have things like this at school, because it is a little bit different from lessons. We have our silver arts mark and part of that is having theatre groups in school to perform and enrich the pupils' lessons."
