Reindeer delight children at The Bluecoat School’s annual Christmas fair

Children looked on in wonder as Santa brought his reindeer with him to The Bluecoat School’s annual Christmas fair.

Santa opened the well attended event in Stamford and asked the children to look after his reindeer in the garden. The children were thrilled to discover two reindeer outside and were able to get close and pet them.

Headteacher Carol Hines said: “The expressions on the faces of the children and their excited responses to Santa’s reindeer were wonderful and added something really special to our Christmas fair.

“It was a very successful event and we were delighted to be able to contribute some of the money raised to the victims of the Philippines Typhoon disaster fund.”

The event included a festive disco and other fun Christmas activities including a teddy tombola.
