People are being urged to leave a romantic Valentine message in a shop window and raise money for charity at the same time.

Every year, the window of the British Heart Foundation shop in High Street, Stamford, is covered with messages written on heart-shaped notes.

Customers make a small donation in return for leaving their notes and the initiative raises hundreds of pounds for the charity, which researches heart conditions.

To leave a message speak to shop staff.
