Eleven club members cycled from London to Paris in aid of two great causes.
The men, from Deepings Round Table, took on the challenge to support Prostate Cancer UK and Anna’s Hope.
The aim of the challenge was to raise £10,000 to split between the two charities. To maximise the amount raised the cyclists covered the £400 cost of the journey themselves.
The riders, aged between 28 and 63, set off on May 24 from the Olympic Stadium in London.
The team of 11 riders, with the youngest participant being 28 and the eldest 63 years of age, commenced their journey on Saturday, May 24, from the Olympic Stadium in London.
On day one they tackled the hustle and bustle of the capital and continued their challenge through the hilly countryside of Kent to the ferry crossing in Dover.
On day two they rode from Calais to Amiens, and on day three they finished their gruelling ride by the Eiffel Tower.
The team surpassed its target with donations currently standing at £11,500.
